  • Back-tracking

    Despite my earlier comments I’ve decided to try to recreate the site in WordPress, so I’m developing my first ever WordPress theme. It was much easier to write the whole thing from scratch… Anyway, I’m using it as a learning tool, just in case the fashion retail sector doesn’t pick up again.

  • Now mobile friendly and cookie free

    The site has been reformatted again. I’ve uninstalled Flatpress and rebuilt the site from scratch with my own fair hands. Now it’s even quicker and I can tweak to my heart’s content!   • Privacy and cookie policy updated

    I’ve had the website checked for compliance with European cookie regulations, and we now have a popup to let visitors know we set them, as required. Ironically it’s doubled the number of cookies we set, to an astounding 2. I’ve updated the Privacy policy page to reflect all this.

  • Another redesign

    Another site redesign, this time based on (ripped off from?) the awesome Nine Inch Nails website nin.com. Less is definitely more. I uninstalled WordPress and re-installed Flatpress, that I last used 8 years ago. You lose access to the WordPress infrastructure, but for a lightweight site like rempstone.net it’s more than enough, and much easier…

  • Major overhaul

    After several years languishing unloved I’ve done a major overhaul of the website. I switched to the new default WordPress theme, made some tweaks, and here it is! Enjoy!
