Not even high tech any more, this is the spindle, platter, actuator arm and read/write head of an old 20Gb hard disk drive. Common or garden precision engineering living in a cardboard box, waiting to be thrown away.
This weeks 52Frames entry. The brief was “chair”. It just so happened that someone had put these things in the street outside their house for people to take away. The poor chair needs some TLC.

This is the first 52Frames challenge of the year – self portrait. I was inpired to try to emulate the cover of Morrissey’s first solo album, Viva Hate, which was taken by Anton Corbijn. Mine is just a pale imitation, but I’m pretty happy with it.
